Core Snaps
The Core Snaps enable you to read and write data, manage metadata, handle email messages, process input documents, execute HTTP methods to REST APIs, run scripts, manage assets within a project, call SOAP endpoints, handle data operations, and manipulate data in PDF files.
The the following Snap Packs are available on the current site:
- Amazon S3 Snap Pack : Interacts with Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) to upload, download, and manage files and objects securely in the cloud.
- API Suite Snap Pack : Provides Snaps to design, test, and manage APIs within the SnapLogic platform, enabling seamless API lifecycle integration.
- Binary Snap Pack : Handles binary data such as files, images, and PDFs for encoding, decoding, splitting, merging, and transforming file content.
- Data Catalog Snap Pack : Connects to SnapLogic Data Catalog to search, register, and manage metadata and dataset information across the organization.
- Email Snap Pack : Sends, receives, and processes email messages with support for attachments and authentication across SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 protocols.
- Flow Snap Pack : Controls data flow and execution logic in pipelines, including branching, iteration, and conditional execution.
- JDBC Snap Pack : Connects to relational databases using JDBC to perform SQL queries, updates, and schema operations.
- JWT Snap Pack: Generates, validates, and decodes JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) for secure authentication and authorization processes.
- OpenAPI Snap Pack : Imports OpenAPI specifications to generate REST API Snaps dynamically for quick integration with external APIs.
- PDF Snap Pack: Extracts, manipulates, and converts data in PDF files for seamless document processing.
- REST Snap Pack : You can use the REST Snaps to execute HTTP methods on a REST API service endpoint.
- Script Snap Pack : Executes custom JavaScript or Python code within pipelines to perform advanced logic and data transformations.
- SnapLogic Metadata Snap Pack: Retrieves, updates, and manages metadata across various SnapLogic assets and integrations.
- SOAP Snap Pack : Connects to SOAP web services, builds and sends requests, and parses XML responses for service integration.
- Transform Snap Pack: Groups, aggregates, or joins data; formats incoming data or parses outgoing data as Avro, CSV, Excel, Fixed Width, JSON, or XML; converts binary data to document data and document data to binary data; applies conditions; sorts or compares data; works with pivot and maps data using advanced transformation logic.
