APIM 3.0 DeveloperHub portal

From the DeveloperHub portal, you can browse, try out, and subscribe to Services. Before subscribing to a Service, you must create an Application. You can group multiple Services into a virtual Application to make managing them easier.

If the portal requires a login, you must first request an account. If approved, you receive an email. After logging in, you can update the display name and reset your password by clicking the profile image and selecting the User Account option.

Creating an Application

Before subscribing to a Service, you must create an Application. You can group multiple Services into a virtual Application to make managing them easier.

To create an Application:

  1. Click your profile image and select Manage Applications.
  2. Click Create Application.
  3. Enter an Application name.
  4. Click Save Application.

Subscribing to Services

Services that offer subscriptions have either automatic or manual approvals. After you click the Subscribe and the Request subscription buttons, messages below the Service card update to show the status:
  • Pending (for manual approvals)
  • Approved (for automatic and manual approvals)
  • Rejected (for manual approvals)
  • Revoked (for automatic and manual approvals)
After a subscription is approved, obtain the key or token:
  • Click your profile image and select Manage Applications The Applications page opens:

  • Click Get key, copy, and save it in a secure location.

You can now use the key or token to invoke the Service endpoints.
